In my ongoing quest to switch every woman to the menstrual cup Im sharing another entertaining comment from my popular YouTube video on the subject: Imagine filling up a water ballon at the tap, then taking the balloon off the faucet when its full - without turning off the tap first - then putting another balloon on to fill. Water is still coming out whether there is a balloon there or not. I love the visual but I will just say that there are a few reasons this wouldnt happen. One is that water is not viscous and menstrual blood is. Cup users especially know about this but it is understandable tampon and pad users wouldnt. The second is that, unless you have a known medical condition or an emergency one, you shouldnt be experiencing a flow even close to that. Most women are unaware how very little they do bleed per day!
