In my opinion there is nothing wrong with someone offering store bought lures for a small markup and the custom lures are a steal. Not all lures are available in all areas of the country. Not everybody has a Wal-Mart, K-mart, BPS, Gander Mountain, Academy, Cabela’s or Dick’s Sporting goods within 20 miles of their home. How much is gas for you to drive 40 mile round trip? You can buy lures online with nothing more than a few clicks of your mouse or flicks of your finger while sitting on your butt in the AC having a cold one. The seller has to print shipping, communicate with buyer, and mess with Pay-Pal 3.5 %, package securely with paper, box, ink, and tape as supplies and drive to the post office and maybe stand in line for who knows how long during peak seasons. My guess that the custom Lure makers are making about 5 bucks per hour unless they are really well set up. There is much more to this than many believe and many wouldn’t bother to put out this effort and time for such a low wage. For those that think this is off base, maybe you should list and sell something and see if this isn’t the truth for yourself. Have a safe and great day with tight lies to you all!
