In my quest for finding safer products for myself and my family I have asked others for recommendations on products that Beautycounter doesnt have at this time. I wanted to give you a little feedback on the products I have tried so far. Mascara- Tarte Lights, Camera Lashes. m.sephora/lights-camera-lashes-P111902?skuId=862417. Its a safer option than other mascaras and works really well. It elongates, separates and gives my lashes a sense of fullness. I wear it to the gym and the waterproof version doesnt run. Deodorant- Greenbody.greenbodydeo. Making this switch was high on my priority list. There is no secret that the aluminum that is in an antiperspirant has a lot of health consequences, which include breast cancer. It will take some getting used to, but so far I am loving this deodorant. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t make my armpit feel sticky and keeps me fairly dry and smelling fresh. I love the multiple scents they offer. I do reapply a few times a day, but it does the trick through my sweatfests at the gym. It is exceeding my expectations in terms of a natural deodorant. Toothpaste- Jason Powersmile Peppermint toothpaste. amazon/Natural-Cosmetics-Powersmile-Toothpaste-Peppermint/dp/B000FGDILC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407181493&sr=8-2&keywords=jason+powersmile. I wanted something that resembled my minty toothpaste of the past and this does the trick. It cleans my teeth and gives me minty fresh breath. I haven’t used it long enough to test out the whitening ability against my coffee drinking. After our move, I will be on the safer cleaning supply mission. I have had some good recommendations so far, but if anyone wants to weigh in I am all ears.
