In my school, there is a CCA called Sports Games Club. During CCA time, we learn about new sports games and we play these games at a leisurely pace. It is a low-intensive CCA with no inter-school competitions. As such, students who join this CCA should not expect to get an outstanding CCA grade, as compared to students who join CCAs such as NCC, music orchestra or represent the school in sports competitions. Sometimes when I look at my friends in other CCAs, I wonder why they need to be pushed so hard? Is it for their own good, or is it to ensure that their CCA teachers can impress their superiors? Do intensive CCAs put unnecessary pressure on our students?
