In my yoga class, I have a 78 year old student named Jim. Jim is fun, spirited and sweet, he and I have become fast friends, and Im better for it. Tonight, I noticed that he didnt have his cane as he walked in. After the class, he came up to me and told me that thanks to his physical therapy and my last 4 yoga classes, he no longer needs it! His PT encourages yoga to help his flexibility, I gave him a huge hug with tears in my eyes! You go Jim, your perseverance alone is why that cane is no longer needed!!
