In negative situations like this, It is truly sad that children dont get to pick their parents, and that the majority of the world they see is through their family. They grow up to be the same abusive, selfish, disrespectful, neglectful people they have seen as a role model. As a teacher, many times we question why do they act like this, when they are merely imitating all they know. As a parent I question if my good influences will counteract all the other negativity out there that my children may see. I hope that all the positives my children experience through my actions will allow them to be loving, caring, helpful, respectful young men who help take care of others and treasure the loved ones they have in their lives. I also pray that they have positive interactions with people they meet treating everyone with genuine kindness.
