In one day I get to see Lakeland Leaders and World Changers. City Commissioner Jim and Matt of Ignite Lakeland were on the corner of Main and Tennessee shaping our city. Matthew E Wengerd was up early at Catapult Lakeland shaping the world. Meg Bellamy arrived shortly after and Fred showed up; all making an impact near and far. On the walk to the car I cross paths with Amanda, a passionate Lakelander making massive strides with her education, and Olivia and Jared, top-tier social media gurus. For my book I was able to interview skilled flamenco guitarist Nathan from his home in the Cayman Islands. Tonight I was able to meet with Rob and Cindy who are overcoming obesity in Polk County, 10 pounds at a time. We were surrounded by friendly and familiar faces, Amanda and Samantha. I gotta say: I #lovelakeland.
