In one of the last conversations with my brother Jon who was dying - TopicsExpress

In one of the last conversations with my brother Jon who was dying at the far too early age of 47, he said to me I wish I could live my life over again. I thought he was speaking of regrets so I asked him, If you could what would you change? He said, Of course, there are things Id do differently, but thats not what I meant. He continued, What I meant was that I wish I could live it over again because it was so good. He was teaching me to the very end. Like Camus Sisyphus faced with the absurd task of pushing the boulder up that mountain for eternity, we still have the freedom to face that task with passion and rebellion. I hope to be able to say the same thing as my dear brother Jon told me 28 years ago.
