Please join us in welcoming them at the reception at 6:15 pm in Dorchester Hall and the reading at 7:00 pm in Ulrich Recital Hall, Tawes. *Tracy K. Smith is the author of three books of poetry. Her most recent collection, Life on Mars (Graywolf, 2011), won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize and was selected as a New York Times Notable Book. Duende (2007) won the 2006 James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets and an Essence Literary Award. The Bodys Question (2003) was the winner of the 2002 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. Smith was the recipient of a Rona Jaffe Writers Award in 2004 and a Whiting Award in 2005. *Paul Yoon was born in New York City. His short story collection, Once the Shore (Sarabande, 2009), was selected as a New York Times Notable Book and as a Best Debut of the Year by National Public Radio. It also won the Asian American Literary Award for Fiction and a 5 Under 35 Award from the National Book Foundation. His novel, Snow Hunters, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2013.
