In our nursery class this past Sunday, the lesson was about God - TopicsExpress

In our nursery class this past Sunday, the lesson was about God healing by just speaking it...I asked those little guys if they had ever been hurt and healed...we spent quite some time on many stories of bumps and cuts and then one mentioned that, although, he wasnt hurt anymore, he still had a scar...he was happy to point it out to me, too...I hadnt noticed that he had one until that point...it got me to thinking that it would be so much easier to minister and comfort those around us if the scars from all their hurts and what might be hurting them now where so apparent...we would be able to see older scars and newer ones that were still healing...it would be so much easier to know how to pray for them, and seeBut he was [ what was hidden behind a smile...but, only God knows the scars that we carry...we, on the other hand, need to form a relationship with each other, to be able to know what the hurts are and see the scars...since we are not telepathic, we need each other...we need to develop trusting relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ...in heaven, there is no hurt or pain...in this world around us, there is much too much of it...it is so easy to become a surface Christian and do our quick greetings and present ourselves as fine and dandy...we are prideful to do so and so wrong...it makes others feel that we have it all together, and they are not likely to approach us for comfort or prayer not wanting to seem less Holy or Normal...we are all scarred in one way or another...lets try to be the Balm that each other needs...lets be able to lift one another up with both hands to our God who can still heal with just His words...He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.Psalm 147:3
