In preparation for 2015, Id like to announce that I will be focusing mainly on newborn and lifestyle sessions. What does this mean? This means that I will continue to shoot newborn sessions in the hospital and in babys home. As you are probably aware, I do not use props, costumes, backdrops, etc and I certainly wont photoshop the shiznit out of your precious little newborns features (its an umbilical chord and its there for a reason). What is a LIFESTYLE session? A lifestyle session is a natural, unposed, real session that takes place in your home or location that your little ones are comfortable playing and being themselves. Lifestyle sessions capture the everyday activities of kids and families, with the focus on the kids. For the time being, I am no longer booking weddings, engagement, seniors, or posed family sessions. Boudoir will be limited to mini-session dates OR lifestyle sessions in your own home. The next boudoir mini-session date is November 22nd. Heads up, there will NOT be a boudoir date before Valentines Day next year. I am eager to start shooting more births when the time comes. My goal is to have this as an option in 2016, if you are interested in the possibility please dont hesitate to get in touch with me. As a mom of two young boys who want nothing to do with my camera, I feel the need to capture them as they really are, dirty nails, tears, scowls, messy rooms, silly moments and all...and I believe it is important to do the same for you.
