In pursuing the success of her newest CD/cassette, Sheryl Crow - TopicsExpress

In pursuing the success of her newest CD/cassette, Sheryl Crow turned to the man who produced her monster debut smash Tuesday Night Music Club three years earlier, Bill Bottrell, to produce again. But Bottrell was moving on and couldnt help the green-eyed beauty from Missouri make more musical magic. But he gave her encouragement -- he told her she was good enough to produce herself. The 34-year-old Crow took it to heart and eventually finished up her newest product and self-titled CD. She must have known what she was doing -- she won Grammys for Best Rock Album and If It Makes You Happy won for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. The leadoff single from the CD, If It Makes You Happy leaped nine spots from No. 38 to No. 29 on October 5, 1996, eventually topping out at No. 6.
