In response to the -Its been a great year! Thanks for being a part of it posts.....This has not been a great year. I had blood clots in my lungs that tried to kill me. I had surgery to remove so many tumors that were literally causing me to bleed to death. My immediate family was pulled apart, I lost the last grandfather I had, and an entire generation on one side of my family was wiped out in 3 months. I lost my job. One of my closest friends found out they have cancer. 2014 has been horrible. BUT GOD.....I am STILL here to tell my story, without blood clots or tumors. Events have allowed for certain immediate family members to return and even though I cant get all family members back, my Granny (the last grandma I have) decided to move from Youngstown to live the rest of her days with us in Indianapolis. I have been even busier with all the new free time I have to get things, real things, done for my daughter and I, including researching and finishing up my project for prison reform. My friend found out about the cancer early and is being treated meanwhile praying for all my friends and visiting and helping when I can keeps me motivated and I in turn try to encourage them and be supportive during the difficult times. I needed 2014 to be to take me into 2015. In the words of Tye Tribbett....Devil if you only knew what I was gonna be after the storm you wouldnt have even bothered me...But now Im stronger, And I got more power, Im a little bit wiser, And I got more strength, I got thee anointing, I got favor , And Im still standing... Thank you GOD for being more than just a part of my 2014. You were my everything in 2014.
