In science fictions, there was a time when stories were very different, like when Jules Verne used to write them, it was about exploring this planet. Like going around the world in 80 days, journey to the center of the earth and things like that. Then came an era when science fictions became stories evolving around aliens coming to see us, aliens invading and what not. The reason for this is that with the Creator out of the picture, you need a reason why you have been created. When the whole purpose of our creation became meaningless, and the idea that we are here just by mere accident took the floor, then what can we do except hope that at least aliens in other planets are giving us some importance? That they are visiting us, they are coming to us because we are important somehow! Alhamdulillah for Islam, we have a clear vision about life, what we are doing here, why we have been created in the first place! [Brilliant gems from DHD 102 - IOU BAIS]
