In some bad news for Karnataka, after many threats doctors have decided to resign En masse. The resignations come after talks between the health ministry and doctors failed to reach a consensus. Meanwhile, the government has said that it is ready to face the challenge .The government is all set to accept resignations. The government has decided to press in the services of Ayush and private doctors. Doctors have put forth several demands in front of the government. Prominent among them are hiking the salaries, district hospitals to be retained by the government and initiating a plan to stop assaults on doctors. Meanwhile, the opposition parties have condemned the government’s adamant attitude. They opine that if the doctors tender their resignations, people of rural Karnataka will be badly affected.
