In spiritual warfare, we cannot rely on our own human abilities. When we trust our own strength, we are no longer trusting in the finished works of Jesus, which include our salvation, deliverance, prosperity, healing, and preservation. We draw our strength from Him. Ephesians 6:10 in the Amplified Bible states, “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].” The most important thing we can remember during spiritual warfare is the promises of God. One of the ways we can remain steadfast on the promises of God is by speaking what we believe. Also, we have to see ourselves the way Jesus sees us, not by our own estimation. We have to look beyond ourselves, and focus on the Word of God. We need to learn how to speak those promises even before we see them in the physical realm. That’s how we win in spiritual warfare.
