In the Nation of Islam we are taught that, in this world, evil is made fair-seeming and the statement is provable in so many ways without the slightest doubt. Today lets just take a look at one issue that affects humanity. The dangerous consumption of Pig or pork, swine flesh, or its by-products and the myriad of other names that are used to disguise something that was never meant for human consumption, yet people are given it to eat or to use in other ways, on a daily basis. They call it ham, gammon, bacon, sausage, Pâté, trotters, lard. Sometimes they refer to it as smoked, cured, suckling, or crackling. Other names like hot-dog, salami, Pepperoni, Chorizo, pancetta, danish, rind, rasher, streaky, sweet & sour, jerk, a full English breakfast, spam, brawn, chops, cuts, on the bone, tenderloin, roast, belly, side, fatback, shoulder, knuckles, cheeks, ribs, rump, shank, pulled, pie, ears, tail, intestines or chitlins (so-called soul food), It can and is often found in the following foods: Puddings, jelly, crisps, biscuits, donuts, cakes, marshmallows and most sweets, frosting, cheese spreads, yogurt, margarine, ice creams and so much more using terms like animal fats, glyceride, proteins, enzymes, emulsifiers, monostearates, and gelatin. They are also found in cosmetics and toiletries such as lipstick, shaving cream, toothpaste, had lotion, bath soap and shampoos, using names like, keratin, collagen and tallow. And they also hide pork and its by-products in detergents, cleansers, washing-up liquids, and soaps. Many medications like tablets and capsules are coated with gelatin and on and on it goes. I am thankful to Allah for inspiring those who made the following film breaking down the reality and dangers of consuming this divinely prohibited creature.
