In the Rosary, every bead is a rose, and every prayer a gentle kiss, given to our Mother while meditating, and reliving, the life of Christ. Every day there is a different set of mysteries from the Bible, the Joyful mysteries (like the birth of Christ, the presentation in the temple...), the Sorrowful mysteries (like His carrying of the cross, His crucifixion...), the Luminous mysteries (like the baptism of Jesus, the Last Supper...), the Glorious mysteries (the resurrection of Jesus, the coming of the Holy Spirit). The Rosary reflects the various seasons in our own lives, because in our lives too, we experience joy and sorrow, glory and light, the point is to keep praying in the midst of all these. In the laughter and the tears, in our triumphs and harsh learning experiences, there is always grace that encourages and pushes us on.
