In the beginning when Eve ate the forbidden fruit, one of the things that happened was she came in agreement with a lie. Satan spoke a vision of what she would be in the flesh if she would eat from the forbidden tree. Eve came into agreement with the vision when she acted on it by eating from the tree. This is what all children of God struggle with, deciding what vision to come in agreement with. The vision that satan gives you of yourself or the old vision of who you were before you accepted Jesus, or the vision of who God says you are. If the vision youve come in agreement with doesnt look like Jesus then youve been believing a lie. You were crucified and resurrected with Jesus and are now a new creation in Jesus. The real you is your born again person, your spirit. Your spirit does not sin and the only time your flesh sins is when you agree with a lie concerning your identity. Eves true identity was who she was before she agreed with satan that she would be like God knowing good and evil. When we agree with lies it causes death. What death looks like to God is when one of his children agree with a lie about who they are. If we only believe the truth about who we are then we carry the reality of being in Christ which is sinless, spotless, and full of Heavens vision of what we are to do and promote. Did Eve really become like God? NO, what really happened is Eve in the flesh was born. If we agree with who we are in the flesh then we have came in agreement with death, shame, and condemnation. Now to those who are in Christ Jesus there is no condemnation. Life in Jesus involves hope with vision of our true identity in Heaven.
