In the church, (both local and universal) God has set FIRST in the church (Greek: proton-First in time, rank, order.) (1 Cor. 12:28). Apostles (meaning ambassadors or ones sent on a military mission from Gods Kingdom). In the devils kingdom he has set first Principalities (Greek: archas) meaning the first person or thing in a series, the leader. (Eph. 6:12) Principalities are high ranking demonic strategists who govern the heavenly airwaves. Apostles and apostolic leaders are called to contend with principalities in prayers, declarations, decrees, petitions, intercessions, supplications, fastings, etc. rendering them powerless and bringing them to naught. Apostolic ministry is a ministry of warfare (Greek: Strateia) of which one aspect is pulling down demonic high places in the realm of the spirit. If you are not graced, gifted, called or anointed as an apostle or apostolic leader DO NOT attempt to contend with high ranking demonic entities in prayer. You are operating outside of your realm of authority in Christs Kingdom. To do so is to commit spiritual suicide. #spiritualwarfare
