In the cool of this beautiful morning I am taking a stroll down memory lane reflecting back through the birthdays my oldest sister, Alice and I celebrated together. I was blessed to be born on her birthday, July 20th seven years apart. Our first born children had the same birthday 11 years apart. We always felt there was something very special about that. 7-11 She struggled with her health and I felt for many years it would be our last to celebrate together but this is the first year I will celebrate without her. She went to heaven on Feb. 18th. I am thankful for the 63 years we had together and I will miss taking her to Red Lobster, our favorite place to eat and celebrate. I will go to Red Lobster and reflect sweet memories and thoughts of her. I am sure she will have a wonderful birthday in Heaven with our mother, her husband, a daughter, a granddaughter, our niece, my son and a host of others, but most of all Jesus! Happy Birthday Sis, I love you and miss you.
