In the education system in Dominica there is room for improvement. They are doing a fantastic job getting the kids ready to compete in the world , but we must do more, give the kids an edge over every one else, by teaching not only the subjects required to pass tests, these steps are very important critical thinking, the disposition to be broad and adventurous, the disposition towards sustained intellectual, the disposition to be playful and strategic, the disposition to seek and evaluate reasons, to be aware and monitor the flow of ones own thinking alertness to complex thinking situations; the ability to exercise control of mental process and to be reflective. Trust your self to take risks prepare to always succeed. Trust and believe in solid imformation dont be like every one else, have the confidence you can succeed. In my opinion leaders are not born , leaders are made with great parents Teachers, communities and great teams of people. In d/ ca we have the opportunities to help create great leaders of the future and Business owners.
