VEXATIONS Bread & Roses 2014 (37 photos) A 24-hour musical extravaganza of piano music by city art students was played out, at the Bread & Roses pub in Ebrington Street, Plymouth, over Thursday and Friday - promoting musical melodies called Vexations. Featuring artists from Plymouth College of Art, Plymouth University, Organised by Plymouth College of Art graduate and current Higher Education Enabler Anita Lander alongside City Arts Group PCQ Arts was a great successes and they did it. The 24-hour gig was a first for the city and showcasing some of the great musical talents of our local students in this great city of Plymouth. VEXATIONS is a 1893 piece by Erik Satie and first performed by John Cage in 1963 and now in Plymouth too.
