When Jafar bin Abi Talib was killed, the Prophet salallahu - TopicsExpress

When Jafar bin Abi Talib was killed, the Prophet salallahu alaykhi wasallam said: prepare food for the family of Jafar, For something has happened which has distracted them. yet, today we find that in addition to their affliction, the family of the deceased is expected to provide food for guests, who are often a burden upon them, sometimes going into debt to do so or spending from that which rightfully belongs to orphans or others in need...Even the practise of gathering after a death with the intent of completing the recitation of certain parts of the qur an is an ENOVATION in religion. It was not done by the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam , his companions or any of his faithful followers before. The qur an was revealed by Allah for the benefit of the living. Several hadiths are often qouted in connection with SURAH YASEEN. Although none are classified as saheeh, perhaps the most accepted among them is that narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, an-Nasai and Ibn Majah in which Maqil bin Yasar reported that the messenger of Allah azza wa jal said: recite it over your dying(mawta) ones, meaning YA SEEN. In arabic, the word (mawta) is used according to specific contexts to mean either (dying or dead). The 1st meaning in this case is supported by another hadith which uses the same word: HELP YOUR DYING ONES TO SAY, LA ILAHA ILALLAH. Obviously, this could not apply to the dead but only to those on the verge of death. Imam Ahmad mentioned that the scholars used to say, WHEN YA SEEN IS READ FOR THE DYING , ALLAH EASES IT FOR HIM BY THAT. BY THIS HE MEANT THAT ALLAH MAKES THE EXIT OF THE SOUL EASIER, JUST AS RECITATION OF THE SURAH IS SAID TO EASE ANY DIFFICULT MATTER. BUT, AS IN ALL AFFAIRS, IT IS ALLAH AZZA WA JAL WHO KNOWS BEST... We hope that this post would be a beneficial knowledge...share this to others...,pls comment kung may mali dtu..,asalmu alaykum w.w.,
