In the event any of you have been fooled by the Harper govts window dressing. See attached video. As my mother would say a leopard doesnt change its spots. As many of you know I am driven to make the affairs of veterans an election issue. This govt knows very well that 98% of Canadians believe that veterans are not being looked after in the manner Canadians expect. None of these recent announcements are new money nor will they have any real impact. I must confess I am somewhat amused that the Harper govt has went comms lock down on Fantino. They are trotting out their veteran MPs really. I once asked OToole had your Sea King crashed would you prefer a lump sum or a monthly pension. Guess what still have yet to get an answer some 2 years later. Yet the Harper govt put his smug face on Power and Politics like he has some credibility. My fellow Canadians stay the course tell your MPs you are less than pleased. In the end they are but temporary govt employees do not be intimidated nor fooled. So who would you believe OToole or Pat Stogran ???
