In the future I will continue to save the City and the taxpayers money on the City utility bills.I will support the expansion of West End Beach. Our last Recreation Commission meeting was at west End Beach to discuss ideas on an expansion of the beach and parking area as well as a picnic area. I will support any efforts to lease out Elks Brox Park to an independent operator to operate a campground. I will support any further efforts to bring more Recreational events to Port Jervis such as the Longboard Races and the Radio Controlled Cars at Riverside Park. These events bring people to Port Jervis and they spend money to help our local businesses. I will continue to support the building of the Whitewater Park which will attract more people and business that cater to outdoor people. I will continue tore3spond to the voters of the 2nd Ward when I am approached about their problems and try to resolve their problems or try to resolve problems that I notice on my own. I will support any efforts to improve our housing stock and continue to work with the Building Official on any private housing that I see that violates the laws of Porrt Jervis and the State of New York. I will support the police department and the fire department in an effort to improve public safety and also quality of life. I will continue to support the Department of Public Works so we can protect and improve our infrastructure. I would support any efforts to provide a Homeless Center for our homeless in the City.
