In the hadith related by al-Bukhariyy, The Prophet said: which means: It is also understood from this hadith that whomever Allah did not will for him to be knowledgeable enough in the Religion, then Allah did not will a good status for him. It was related that the scholars said, For one to be pious is more severe on ones self then getting hit with a sword. Piety is reached by doing all the obligations and refraining from sinning. You must be able to fight your inclinations which is not easy, one has to be tough on the self. But it can be done. May Allaah make us among those who become pious by the status of Prophet MuHammad Sallallaahu ^alayhi wa sallam. He is Muhammad (sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam), the son of ^Abdullah, the son of ^Abdul-Mutalib, the son of Hashim, the son of ^Abdu Manaf, the son of Qusaiyy, the son of Kilab, the son of Murah, the son of Ka^b, the son of Lu’aiyy, the son of Ghalib, the son of Fihr, the son of Malik, the son of an-Nadr, the son of Kinanah, the son of Khuzaymah, the son of Mudrikah, the son of Ilyas, the son of Mudar, the son of Nizar, the son of Ma^ad, the son of ^Adnan. After Adnan the honorable lineage goes back to Prophet Isma^il the son of Prophet Ibrahim peace be upon them. Islam the Religion that does not differentiate between a poor man and a rich man, a black man and a white man, an Arab and a non-Arab, a male and female, or a young person and an old one—except by piety and righteousness. Allaah told us in the Honorable Qur’aan what means, “The best amongst you to Allaah are the most pious and God-fearing.” And the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, said, “An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; A white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white—except by piety and good action.” This is what Islam teaches. If you see or hear anything different, anything contradictive from someone claiming to be a Muslim, then know without doubt that Islam does not teach that. Islam does not call for violence or terrorism, for the Prophet told us, “The extremist fanatics are doomed.” Islam is about unity, humbleness, and steadfastness. Islam is the Religion that unites all kinds of people, from all different classes, cultures, and backgrounds. It is the only Religion in which you’ll find a king prostrating on the floor next to a peasant, worshipping their Almighty Lord, the Exalted and All-Powerful. And the only thing that differentiates these two is the level of piety in their hearts, not the clothes on their backs or the money in their pockets. Islam is the Religion that gives both the husband and the wife their due rights. It teaches its men to be loyal, just, and responsible, and it protects its women, respects them, and honors them. No doubt, the superiority of Muslim women is well distinguished when compared to other women, even if some try to say otherwise. And this is because Muslims are not perfect, but Islam is. Those who sincerely adhere to its authentic teachings will be prosperous. Islam is the true Religion and its laws are Pure and Just for those who learn them and truly implement them. Whoever embraces Islam and dies as a Muslim will be granted an everlasting life of enjoyment in Paradise. Allaah the Exalted said what means, “I have prepared for my pious slaves that which no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and no human heart has ever imagined.” Islam is the Religion of all the Prophets, from Aadam to Muhammad. Islam is the truth. I testify that no one deserves to be worshipped except Allaah and I testify that Muhammad, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Noah are honorable Prophets of Allaah.
