In the last few days I have seen lots of postings regarding Robin Williams death. Many of you are having movie marathons, or posting various memes about him, some of you are talking about what a wonderful actor he was and saying how sad the whole situation is. Yes, it is sad. Yes, it is preventable. So, before you start your movie marathons, or post that funny Mrs. Doubtfire meme on InstaFaceTwit, please take some time to actually do something productive to help others. That said, some of you know that last September someone very important and very close to me took his own life. In a few weeks I will be walking in the American Foundation for Suicide Preventions WalkOut of the Darkness Community walk. I am doing this to raise awareness and I am raising money for research and resources for those considering suicide as a solution. Donate. Volunteer. Raise Awareness.
