In the light of the Bangladesh disaster, I see a lot of people sending the message to consumers that they should buy less fashion. This is a strange message. Its about understanding where its made, not to buy less and supporting smaller independent fashion companies and retailers. In order for the fashion industry to survive like it or not there is an element of volume sales you need to achieve to manufacture in production and to ensure enough sales for a fashion business to survive. With retail sales soft for independent retailers, and small businesses please be careful the message you send, you may be damaging our small industry.
