In the market for a used car. I have very little experience with car purchases. Everyone is saying I have to take it to a mechanic before I buy something. That totally makes sense. Well, tried that with a dude on Craigslist and he got so incensed that he hung up on me. Of course, a dude that is that vehemently against me taking it to a shop is someone I dont want to purchase a car from, but, how does this interaction between two rational people usually go down?
