In the midst of this Ebola public health scare, not to mention the countless other serious issues facing our City, Mayor de Blasio has dispatched his top government staffers to work on political campaigns, including my ultra-liberal opponents. These are senior public officials who should be working for the people tackling these challenges, not trying to replace your Congressman whose always had your back with a de Blasio puppet who will rubber stamp all of his failed, radical policies. Emma Wolfe, de Blasio’s intergovernmental director and top political confidante; and Jonathan Viguers, a member of the Community Affairs Unit, have been on leave for weeks working to help the Democrats grab control of the state Senate. Another aide, Jon Paul Lupo, is reportedly aiding the effort to unseat Staten Island Republican Rep. Michael Grimm.
