In the name of Allah most high. As the events continue to unfold in #Sydney I would like to just say a few words. Whether this person is #Muslim #nonMuslim #Radical #Medically_unwell or #Mentally_unfit..... we Muslims are and sadly have already been attacked and abused by some bigoted fools. A sister in #Wollongong was followed in her car from Wollongong city to the Illawarra ( approx 20min) being abused the whole way. She was brave enough and smart enough to drive straight to Illawarra police station where she filed a complaint. Please sisters 1- Travel with a male companion and if the trip isnt important then its best to rethink it. 2- Report all cases of abuse or harassment. 3- Carry with you a travel size can of deodorant, this will give you a few minutes in an emergency. 4- Wear leggings under you skirt or dress to protect you modesty. 5- Wear runners to be able to run in case of an emergency. 6- Refrain from travelling at night. 7- Most importantly turn to Allah most high for protection. Lastly I would like to commend and thank those in the wider community that have supported our sisters.
