In the past couple days in Medina Munnawara, Saudi Arabia, Allah has blessed me with the opportunity to pray at the Masjid al-Nabawi for countless hours, pray on the Prophet (pbuh)s rug, see his home, his site of burial along with Abu Bakrs (ra) And Omars (ra), pray at Masjid Qiblatain (where the direction of prayer was changed from Jerusalem to Makkah), Masjid Quba (first mosque), Masjid Jummah (where Prophet pbuh prayed Jummah prayer on his way back from Hijrah), And Masjid al-Fatih (mosque of his companions). I also climbed the mountain of Uhud and saw the burial site of the many Sahabas (companions) who were martyred there as well as visited the valley of Jinn. Words cannot begin to explain these experiences but Medina has left me speechless and in tears. Tomorrow it will be Makkah InshaAllah!
