In the past couple of weeks Ive spoken to a Realtor friend and a client - both came here from other countries many years ago and went through the rigorous and lengthy process of becoming US citizens with pride. I asked what their stance was on the current border fiasco AND illegal aliens in general. Their responses were almost identical, although one came from South America and the other Yugoslavia. They are furious that the president has done nothing to secure the border and in fact practically invited this problem when he ordered ICE agents NOT to deport dreamers (children under 30) who ILLEGALLY come here. Worse than that, they BOTH said that many of the things happening in America today such as the targeting of political groups, wire tapping reporters and pushing for amnesty for illegals are exactly the same things that happened in their home countries and exactly what made them flee and come here! They both warned me that if it continues, Americans rights will disappear little by little until we have hardly any left and we will end up just like the countries they feared and left behind! If that happens - there is NOWHERE for us to flee to! We must take a stand on Election Day and send a loud and CLEAR message!
