In the past year Cedarville has had 4 Chief of Police. David - TopicsExpress

In the past year Cedarville has had 4 Chief of Police. David Goss, Mark Gentry, Joe Johnson and then Blayne Irvin. I couldn’t begin to count the number of officers that have served under them that have come and gone as well. This lack of stability in the police department effects my office’s ability to prosecute cases that were handled and investigated by these now former officers, as well as it effects the citizens in the community. Will we be better served to continue hiring, firing, and having Chiefs resign, or contact Sheriff Ron Brown and ask him to patrol Cedarville and have his trained staff of detectives investigate crimes in our city limits? What do you think? How much money would we save?
