In the process of making a full review video on what happened this weekend including all of my lifts. Easier for me to explain with video editing and tell the whole story that way lol. That will be done later this week, but i just wanted to get some quick thank yous out because there were some people that were beyond appreciated. My coach, Mike Tronske. He is a solid figure in my life who is been guiding me in the right direction ever since he has taken me under his wing. He is 100% my brain on gameday and i just go out and execute. Without him i would be no where near where i am at today. His belief in me is important to me. Tom Moormeister. Where do i begin with this guy? lol. Even though he beats me up with every joke under the sun, he would give his shirt off his back to me if i needed it and was too stubborn to ask for help. He is blessed me with his friendship on and off the platform and i can honestly say no one can ever get in my head and rewire me to kill it like he does. Thank you brother! South County Wrecking Krew with my training partners Dave, George(wrapping monster lol), Howard, Anthony.. Thank you guys soo much for sticking around and seeing me through my lifts. Congrats to Dave and George for hitting big as well!! It means alot to me and made me feel like i was really apart of a genuine group of lifters.. family.. Little Lindsay, Kristy, Joey, and ALL of my Relentless Detroit/Minnesota brothers and sisters! There was power in that wristband and in that bandana.. I felt so confident.. so untouchable.. that even in cloud of adversity i felt you guys pulling me through to the other side.. i mean that. Love you guys.. All of my powerlifting family, Tracie, Bernice, Chris, Dennis, Tina, and i could go on and on everyone that was there that was showing overwhelming support, love, and concern helped me look past all the negative. Even though ones that werent there that were sending texts, emails, and calls. BEAST NATION around the world showing me love!! Thank you so much guys seriously! I will explain more in the video, but i set up my grip wrong with the deadlift bar.. from the start i was pulling with 4 fingers, then 3.. then tried to just lock it out and felt and heard pops in my left bicep.. On video it is clear what happened.. Holding onto the bar was a costly mistake, but brought a wealth of knowledge along with it.. I have iced it up and waiting on the severity of it going into an MRI scan tomorrow afternoon.. I was heading towards the meet of my life, which is only suppose to be a prep meet for the Olympia, and it gets swiped away with the opener on deads. There was so many reasons for me to hang my head, but an even greater amount of reasons not to.. I believe it was Henry Rollins that said scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue.. This will be my 3rd injury in a game that i knew what i was getting myself into. You push yourself to the limits you are going to fall every once in awhile.. putting a smile on some doubters faces that stand hidden amongst you.. but when they turn their backs and start to walk away thinking you are soaking in defeat.. a clinched fist pounds the ground.. forcing the body connected to it to stand back up on its feet.. So to conclude to anyone might think im out, which there is a few surprisingly, this is NOTHING compared to Brandon Lilly, Scott Cartwright, or any other lifters who have went down on some serious injuries and have all made a comeback. This is NOTHING compared to the countless relentless kids who fight everyday to just be blessed to have another breath.. Bicep tear? Give it a rest, change my grip, and show them i can be twice is strong on the Olympia stage then onto the Relentless show for the kids! Dont take me off your radar.. this boat isnt sunk.. Missions are still going to be completed one comp after another!! Stay tuned for the recap! Also working on the promo video for the Relentless Detroit meet!
