In the pursuit of new areas to offer and new mountains to explore, Mountain Madness participated in the Adventure Travel Trade Associations Adventure Week in the Western Balkans. The area proved to have many new trekking opportunities, great cultural experiences, and some awesome Western Euro Style skiing possibilities. Historically know for its conflict, the now very safe region currently represents a new frontier of unexplored mountains and historic treasures. The region is quickly gaining a reputation as the next must see place! Stay tuned for some more information about the region which includes the countries of Kosovo, Albania, and Macedonia.
