In the short past, Mr (Dr) Edward Omane Boamah fought on behalf of the students of Ghana against the NPP and in particular Mr. Sarfo Marfo the then Minster for Finance in the Kufour administration over the mis-application and mis-use of the GETFund. We the students of Ghana supported him. I gave him an opportunity to talk about that issue. The GYEEDA report shows that GETFund "contributed" money to this "enterprise" since 2009. Question is: Why have the people that that protected this fund seem so deafeningly quite since this issue broke out. Where is "Hon" Haruna Iddrisu? Is this a case of "because-I-am-not-party-to-it-I-will-shout?" so the "honourables" have become silent as Ghana is raped, by their party? I dare Dr. Omane Boamah that if he believed in what he did with Mr. Marfo and respected the support we gave him, he should please resign and make his reason be one thing: "Mr. President, I fought for GETFund and will not be part of its mis-use and pilferage" But will he do it? No! I dare Haruna Iddrisu to tender in his resignation on the basis that his government is mis-using and stealing from the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). That in 1998/1999 through to 2000 he went on through the most miserable time as a student leader in the hands of the Party he now works for because he believed that government was mis-spending and did not have the right to increase fees. If he still has those convictions - let him move to resign as a sign of respect to the thousands that supported him. But No, he wont! Time - they say changes people and perspectives. #IcouldNotBeMoreDisgusted!
