In the words of one Tom Barlow You are now educated. Your certification is in your degree. You may think of it as the ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an alternative. Think of it as your ticket to change the world. 4 years ago, i left my beautiful, beautiful Nairobi and travelled hundreds of kilometres away in search of this education. I was so young, in a new town with no friends and man was it scary. I have made my fair share of mistakes,but they only shaped me to be the person I am today. So along the way I made some beautiful, strongwilled kickass friends who graduate with me today. How am I feeling? Well, relief for one. 8-4-4 is done and dusted. Favoured, so many people I started with have not made it to the end. Excited, I will sit through a boring ceremony waiting for the part where I hear my gorgeous name and for that one second,I will stand and it will be MY moment. So here is to us, class of 2014. For the long,sleepless nights before exams. For sitting through endless lectures. For writing hundreds of papers that have culminated to this one event. We made it! We are graduating :-) Semper Fi.
