In these our times, we often have feelings of insecurity and fear as we see so much evil and war going on around us. The good news is that we are not a lone, about 2070 years ago, there was a war between 2 nations in the ancient Americas, known as the Nephites and the Lamanites. In an occasion, that Nephites were out numbered by the Lamanites. Their leader Helaman record " we did wait in these difficult circumstances for the space of many months, even until we were about to perish for the want of food." But as they turn to their Lord and Savior, the felt peace "Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him."
