In this last week, my step-daughters 2 year old baby, my nephews - TopicsExpress

In this last week, my step-daughters 2 year old baby, my nephews fetus and one of my students, a 24 year old young man have all passed away. They left us with what we would normally consider their lives still ahead of them. We would normally look and see promising futures cut short because our eyes are limited by attachment to this life, but actually they lived their full lives, because to Allah (God) we belong & to Him we shall surely return - when He decides it is time, not when we estimate a life is long enough. We go through this life as if it is the end all and be all and we forget that this life is but a testing ground. We tread this earth for a few numbered years & then we are off to meet our true life, the life of the hereafter. I just want to take this time to remind myself and any who believe in a life to come of the following: (if you believe differently, this is your right, but I need to write and feel this - so allow me my faith) No matter what sin we fall into (and there is NO ONE without error or sin), we need to return to our Lord asking for forgiveness. The only sin that truly matters is the one we dont repent from or feel. If we recognize our fault and ask our Creator for Forgiveness, He Forgives, for He is The Most Merciful, The Oft Forgiving. Also, please never forget prayers. The prayers are what keep us connected to our Lord and the more we sin, the more fault we have; thus, the closer we need to be to our Creator. Be imperfect - because that is how our Lord Created us, but recognize His Rights on us and let us do whatever we can to get closer to Him and make ourselves worthy of the Love & Forgiveness He so easily provides us, so that when our time comes, we are ready, regardless of our age or lack thereof... We mourn the passing of those we love, but we need to rejoice as well because they have achieved that which we havent. They have returned to their Lord, and are now basking in His Perfection & Glory while we still havent finished our exams, while we are still suffering in this life of trials and pains. May Allah (God) Forgive us, Guide us & Unite us all and Grant us Paradise eternal. Ameen.
