In this most recent election cycle I have done my utmost to avoid the heated arguments between my fellow Democratic and Anarcho-Socialists who vote for Dems and those who dont vote at all. Ive said my piece on a couple of threads, but then left everyone alone to make their own choices. We all want the same thing in the end, even though we differ on tactics, and I have no desire to lose good friends over it. However, when I see shit like this, my blood boils at the notion that there is no difference at all between the parties. There IS a bloody difference--even if it isnt enough to make me enthusiastic about voting for most Dems. And this sort of bullshit is the proof in the pudding. Folks, yes, both parties are Corporate to the Bone. And yes, by and large the leadership of both parties support US Global Hegemony (though they both have different tactics for achieving those goals--even Ron Paul bloody recognizes that). But the fact remains that Dems dont appoint judges who suborn the killing of women to advance their theocratic agendas, or create laws that threaten womens lives. This is just one of a number of domestic issues which should give us pause when floating the no difference arguments.
