In this place called Sacramento where I have lived and called my hometown for a number of years, I have somehow not merged into the commonplace of the populace. I am one who has reached and attained a personhood of outrageous originality. If I want to dress in sequins, in a gothic monochromatic black or a colorfully-devised outfit of playful serendipity, then you can bet that is precisely what Ill do - and in a grand sort of notorious efficiency! I do not ever try to appease the cool folks; I do not act, dress, speak or do anything like the others in attempt to be a part of an apparently happening clique. Being popular or otherwise has no meaning to me. I am simply me and as we all wander through the social places of our city and beyond, it seems inevitable that there will be those who we click with in marvelously co-connected ways and those others who will never get people like me - or like you! I am still like a kid - I adorn myself in colorful shades of pinks, reds, white, black and even grey. I am highly imaginative and rather silly as I pretend quite often. I enjoy being somewhat of a continually changing chamelian, one who changes my appearance and dressing style from day to day with a thoughtful and artistic theme. I will never again be the dreary drab and dress like everybody else does motif, for that would be the beginning of the end - I do not even know how to act, look, dress and be like a stereotypical Sacramento resident. I love being artistic, being one who dresses in a style truly of my very own. I have deviated somehow from trudging along in a path of earth tones and have evolved to a strident one who dons stiletto heels when I darn well wanna. I wear fish net stockings when I darn well wanna. I tell inappropriate jokes in public places simply to test those around me to see who gets my humor and who does not. I talk to strangers and yet I am not one bit impressed or in awe of those who are considered whos who in this fish pond of gottabees and wannabees. I pick and select those I like the best by virtue of my own psychic sense intuition about people. I admire the working class folks, the ones who try to be true unto themselves, the ones who are appealing simply because they are who they are. I am not one bit smitten with those in our town who are characterized by being cynical and rather critical of literally anything or anybody which is striving to be kind, considerate, even (occasionally) politically correct - I am drawn to folks who are creative, who are kind, who are colorful, who are funny, who are in tune with a sense of justice, who are of a spirited nature, who (like me) are rebellious and self-thinkers.
