In this search for our ancestors and even some decendants, Joan, Helen and I have taken on the chiggers, ticks and snakes of many counties of Tennessee. Its always fun and oh! the thrill of finding someone who felt he was hiden and figured he would stay that way. Take for instance, Walter Walker Brown. Thanks to the Nephew of Rebecca Henderson..who is of eventually Clare Brown, wife of Charlie Brown.. I have heard no pitty fights over this information....yet. The cemetery at Bethel, an area of Hickman county where our relatives were spawned and sprayed around and finally escaped when they died and most traces of them disappeared. There are some big shots (in their own minds) that feel they know all and will stand up and proclaim even the daughters, the sons, the mothers, the Grandchildren to be wrong in their memories of life there at Bethel or Farmers exchange. The luck out and fall onto a position that gives them some status and they strut around with their noses pointed up and spread the word that their information is absolutely right when in fact, its not even in the same ball park... I love drama.. I love to see their faces when they are corrected and that nose falls down gathering information for an attack.. They strut themselves into their royal offices and begin to write out the truth as they see it and they give try hard to discredit anyone who might have information that contradicts their own. Some of "us" get their feelings hurt with this... not me..and I suspect that I am the main target.. I can quote my Mammy... yep.. ive a mammy.. and I can see those noses go up .. I hope they drown.
