In this walk of faith, moving forward in obedience to God can be - TopicsExpress

In this walk of faith, moving forward in obedience to God can be hard. In Joshua 6, they marched 6 times around the city in silence. There is a time to be still and quiet, trusting in His wisdom when dealing with a walled city like Jericho. But then theres also a time to shout... It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” (Joshua 6:5 NKJV) I believe that every Christian has a unique and personal story of Gods grace working in his or her life. When your story is translated into a shout is the moment that walls come down. When your faith connects with Gods perfect timing, there is true victory over the cities of doubt, unbelief, regret, sin, addictions and anything else holding you back from the promises of God. This is the shouting moment. Let me explain... Revelation says this: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Revelation 12:11 NKJV) This shout is the word of your testimony - its not Gods shout, its YOUR shout. This is a holy proclamation of Gods grace and power working in your life - the Scriptures He has shown you, the fruit of His Spirit He has developed in your life, the miracles Hd has performed for you, the character He has formed in you - this is your story: what God has done for you. There is no devil in hell that can stand against a Christian covered by the blood of Jesus, faithfully living and speaking our testimony and living in total surrender to Jesus! So get busy shouting! You have a lot to be thankful for.
