FLOWERS HAVE STOLEN Flowers have stolen their fragrance from you And the countryside its wealth of flora and fauna While the Sun has taken your light And the moon your beauty Leaving me with Just your heart Birds sing in your voice The air breathes because of you Rivers run their course and the seas fill up While the mountains rise to cradle valleys Because you allow them to - You conquer volcanoes and earthquakes And still the force of a thousand tsunamis Taming flash-floods and storms And your thoughts Are countless butterflies Filling up the world with color. As for your soul It reaches out to take control Across the stretch of the universe Harnessing comets and asteroids Black holes and planets In empty space And your wants and wishes are wild horses Galloping through the wild grasses And through winding passes Up in the Himalayas And your needs are but a few Words of adoration from me to you And never has anyone asked So little of so many But then You are the One; You are the Creator!
