In this week’s edition of ignorance of the Israel/Gaza conflict - TopicsExpress

In this week’s edition of ignorance of the Israel/Gaza conflict I saw many interesting things. I’ve decided to list it in Letterman’s Top 10 fashion. 1.There were protesters wearing shirts saying “Queers for Palestine”. Have fun at next year’s gay parade there! 2. A reporter talked about how Israel is making things are worse for the Palestinians in Gaza than he saw on his last trip there 20 years ago. Palestine-Gaza is 9 years old. 3. People are claiming that Israel is just like the Nazi regime and this is exactly like the Holocaust. Funny enough, these are the same people who deny the Holocaust even happened in the first place. 4. People actually believe that Hamas doesnt know where the missing soldier is after they got busted for breaking the ceasefire. Mia Farrow said If Hamas took the Israeli soldier, it doesnt make sense that they would deny it. Thank you, expert. You must be right. 5. Unwanted celebrities got involved claiming Israel is committing ‘genocide’ then clarifying their views to mean that they just want peace. Were we supposed to read between the lines? 6. People claim that Khaled Mashal cares about the people of Gaza, but a photo is circulating of him working out in his private gym in Qatar. Yes, he is currently in Qatar, not even in Gaza. Well, I guess that’s long-distance jihad hard at work! 7. The UN condemned Israel and the US for not sharing the Iron Dome with Gaza. You do realize that the Iron Dome was only created because Hamas wouldn’t stop firing rockets into civilian areas, right? Moving on. 8. In Europe, many anti-Israel activists are literally destroying their own cities in protest because they’re mad at another country. Smart. 9. Hamas has violated 5 ceasefires but are still apparently the victims to the public. 10. People are actually claiming that the war isn’t fair because ‘not enough Israelis are dying’. Guys, it’s not for a lack of effort. Sorry for the rant but the ignorance is perpetrating more hate and more ignorance. The anti-semitism around the world is going too far and as long as there is ignorance, we will never make progress. It needs to stop. Once again, prayers for the innocents.
