In this world where the advertisers and media are all conspiring to make you and I feel inadequate, where we are bombarded on a daily basis with images and messages, both subliminal and overt, of an ideal which is impossible to achieve, in an economy which is driven by our feelings of self hatred and our desperate need to be that impossible thing on billboards and magazine covers -- the most revolutionary thing we can do is to love ourselves, accept and be kind to ourselves, and be proud of who and what we are, exactly as we are. This is the modern day revolution.
