In three days this country will celebrate the 13th Anniversary of 9-11. Wow, 14 years where has the time gone. I know it will always be with me. To many this will be a another day. To some a day off from work. But for many like myself its a time to look back and reflect on that terrible day. That day changed this nation forever. It made us sad, it made us angry, it made grieve, and it made us proud. Because through it all we came together as a nation. We honked our horns and raised our flags and honored our fallen. So its been 13 years. What has happened. Why as a nation have we forgotten about those lives that were lost and made this just another day.. Why have we forgotten about those who survived or lost a loved one. Why did we forget about those folks still feeling the physical and emotional pain. We as a nation cannot let this happen. We need to remember this day forever. We need to continue to honor those lives that were lost and support those who are still suffering. On the tragic day I lost three friends. I will remember their loss and pay tribute to their lives. I know of close friends that are dealing with emotional and medical issues the cannot be abandoned I see many signs, banners, and slogans that say Never Forget. Unfortunately whats the last word you see or hear. Forget. We as a nation need to embrace the words, ALWAYS REMEMBER, because the last word you see and hear is REMEMBER So on September 11th. Please take the time to go to a 9 11 event. If you cant . Take a moment and say a prayer for this country and all those affected. Rest in peace my brothers and sisters. You will Always be Remembered
