In times past.... I have wondered, in agony, why God has delayed answering my prayer. I reacted to the delay by trying to help Him out and speed things up. I even turned to a Dr., a lawyer, a friend with a sympathetic ear. ... plus bargaining or manipulating until I was exhausted. I came to the absolute end of my rope. I finally came to realize that God might be delaying His answer to my prayer and postponing His intervention in my situation to bring me to the end of my own resources. Sometimes God waits in order to allow us time to exhaust every other avenue of help until I finally realize without any doubt or reservation that I am totally helpless without Him. "I do not seek my own will but the will of my Father who sent Me" ~ John 5:30 ~
